The premier MEGATRANS logistics and transport event is back in 2020

Australia’s premier logistics and transport event, MEGATRANS, has been confirmed for a return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 1-3 April 2020.

MEGATRANS was hailed by industry leaders and stakeholders in logistics and transport as the best event for discussing supply chain issues, finding solutions, collaboration, and launching new and innovative products.

“We’re excited to announce the return of MEGATRANS. Once again, we will connect all facets of the logistics and multimodal freight industry in one place – with an integrated exhibition, conference and social program. We look forward to showcasing the latest developments and innovations in one of Australia’s most important industries,” says show director Simon Coburn.

Show attendees said the event was a much-needed event in the logistics and supply industry. Bringing together the entire industry in one conference hall, it was an event that boosted the profile of many supply chain and logistics suppliers and connected road transport, sea, rail, air, warehousing, materials and handling, and safety companies with hands-on and operational decision makers across supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and customers.

Sitecraft was a founding exhibitor at the inaugural 2018 event, showcasing a diverse range of materials handling equipment including powered pedestrian tugs and a range of custom trolley.

For the first time, MEGATRANS2020 will also take place in conjunction with the specialised bulk handling expo, Australian Bulk Handling Expo 2020 (BULK2020). The two events will be held side-by-side, with one ticket entry into both exhibitions.

The conference will showcase the latest in artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, automated racking, telematics and route optimisation, warehouse automation, intelligent fleet systems, blockchain, Internet of Things, big data and advanced analytics, among other multi-dimensional concepts.

The conference will also host a technology showcase, show off warehousing and materials handling products, delve into the specifics of industry 4.0, play host to key industry networking events as well as ministerial and government department roundtables.
