Choose the right vertical handling solution

Start with your load’s total weight and dimensions, the required lifting height and the equipment used for loading and unloading. These details help us recommend the right platform size, rated capacity and access arrangement for your operation.

For moving goods between floors or mezzanines, explore freight hoists and goods lifts. For loading and unloading between ground level and loading docks, explore dock hoists.

Freight Hoists and Mezzanine Goods Lifts

Move goods between floors and mezzanines

Transfer palletised stock, trolleys and other goods between designated loading levels in warehouses, factories and storage facilities. Platform dimensions, rated capacity and access arrangements are specified around the load and building layout. These lifts are for goods only; people do not travel with the load.
Travel between your levels

Specify the floor-to-floor height and the loading levels to be served.

Platform sized for the load

Allow for the goods, handling equipment and clearance needed during loading.

Flexible installation options

Discuss pit or surface mounting and the space needed for the proposed structure.

Loading access that fits

Plan entry and exit positions around the way materials move through the building.

Controlled loading and travel

Confirm the door interlocks, loading locks and protective features included in your configuration.

Single column goods lift

A compact configuration for projects where installation space is limited. The design focus is to maintain stable travel and predictable handling. Platform dimensions, rated load and loading access determine whether a single-column design suits the task.

16kmh

Double column goods lift

A configuration for projects where platform size increases and a more rigid, stable structure is required. Suitable applications include pallet and equipment handling, with the design assessed around load weight, dimensions and distribution.

Dock Hoists

Transfer goods between ground and dock level

Raise and lower goods between ground level, loading docks and vehicle loading heights. Dock hoists support loading and unloading where the collection and delivery points are at different heights. Specify the platform dimensions, rated capacity and travel around the load and the handling equipment used during transfer.
Reach the loading height

Match the travel range to the ground, dock and vehicle heights involved.

Accommodate the full load

Include any pallet jack or other equipment carried on the platform when assessing capacity.

Plan entry and exit

Allow space for the load to approach, transfer and leave the platform.

Fit the loading area

Assess platform dimensions, surrounding clearance and installation requirements.

Specify transfer features

Confirm the gates, barriers and bridging arrangements required for the application.

Plan the installation with Sitecraft

The right equipment needs to suit the task, the site and the way your team works every day.

Assess the building and loading points

Review the available footprint, travel height, access openings and loading approach. For existing buildings, identify the site preparation and building interfaces that need assessment.

Specify the platform, capacity and loading arrangement around the task. Discuss whether a freestanding structure, pit or surface mounting, and a design without a separate machine room are available for the proposed goods lift.

Agree the equipment and installation scope, including responsibilities for site preparation, power supply, delivery access and handover.
