Products Pallet Handling Equipment... Walkie Stackers
Walkie stackers are a versatile and cost-effective alternative to full-sized forklifts, especially in tight spaces or smaller warehouses. These powered units provide motorized lift and drive, allowing a single operator to stack heavy pallets with minimal physical effort. Their compact turning circle and “walk-behind” design make them exceptionally safe for use in retail aisles and narrow warehouse environments. Whether you need to load a truck or organize warehouse racking, walkie stackers provide the power of a forklift in a much more accessible and manageable format.

In most Australian states, a high-risk work license (LF) is not required for pedestrian-operated walkie stackers. However, under OHS/WHS laws, employers must ensure that operators are “competently trained” and have received a proper safety induction on the specific unit being used.
A straddle stacker has wide support legs that wrap around the outside of a pallet, allowing it to lift standard Australian pallets with bottom boards. A non-straddle (or “wrap-over”) stacker has legs directly under the forks and is only suitable for open-bottom skids.
Lift heights vary significantly by model, with standard units reaching between 1.6 meters and 3.5 meters. This makes them perfect for stacking pallets into lower-level racking or loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
