A national liquor chain asked the engineering and design team at Sitecraft to provide a solution to assist in the manual handling of large quantities of slabs and cartons of beer and wine.
The customers brief included the requirement for the solution to be highly manoeuvrable, easy to use and ability to operate in confined area such as cool/storerooms. Additionally, the trolley would need to be able to access stacks of cartons from both sides and ends.
The team designed the innovative Sitecraft mini-pallet, which sits under each stack of cartons. The pallet could be accessed by the trolley from both sides and ends. A clever folding double toe-plate on the trolley facilitates this.
The Sitecraft Beverage Trolley features multi-directional wheels which allow it to easily and smoothly glide in any direction. This unique design allows for virtually effortless transport and handling of heavy cartons.
The Beverage Handling System has been patented by Sitecraft and has been implemented by many liquor chains over thousands of stores.
